My friend recently decided to renovate his home and have it re-zoned. Since it was in a very high traffic area, he decided he wanted to turn it into a shop. Since he was really into this one particular extreme sport, he decided that he would put up a shop that would have some longboards for sale. Me and all his other friends are very excited about this new venture of his. After all, it is not everyday that you have a friend who will decide to take a plunge and become a full-time entrepreneur. Hopefully he will succeed even if the economy is kind of lousy. I have seen his designs and the shop looks really promising. I am sure that it will catch a few eyeballs and people will definitely drop by. If he is lucky, he will make plenty of sales and his shop will be a roaring success.

It’s been twenty three days since I’ve had a good night of sleep. I would say it’s the beginning stages of insomnia but I know that isn’t it. It something lore controllable but I can’t seem to get a handle on it. I recently purchased a ninja sword and I’ve been so fascinated with it that I haven’t been able to put it down. From the moment I get off work I am entranced in my katana. It has become my life these last few days and I don’t want to sleep. I want to hold it. I want to clean it. I want to swing it. I want to study it. I want to do everything I can with my sword and while my production at work is going down, my love for this ancient weapon is stronger than ever.
When I purchased this sword I didn’t think it would come to this so be careful if you ever buy a sword because this could happen to you.

Yesterday Dan and I went to the convention center for a Camping Expo. It was AMAZING! You wouldn’t have been able to believe how much stuff they had. I just stood there and stared at how many different types of camping supplies are out there. I was completely baffled.
For example, there was a whole huge section filled with nothing but easy up tents. There was another area with tables and tables of canteens and another area with nothing but pocket knives.
I’ll bet you’re wondering if Dan bought anything. Well of course he did! He wouldn’t be considered a “real” outdoorsman if he didn’t, right? At least that’s what he kept telling me.
He only bought one new fishing pole, one pocket knife and some new boots. He wanted to buy more, but I had to put my foot down. He doesn’t go camping enough to make these expenses worth it (in my opinion).

The first step in parasailing is to make sure you have the proper safety equipment, and a boat to pull your parasail. You will need tow ropes, a proper fitting swimsuit, proper fitting life vest that will not fall off if you fall into the water. Make sure the assistants on the ground check your rig and flight harness before you start. After that, the ground personnel will take their positions holding open the far left and far right sides of the sail. Make sure the boat captain and you have a good communication so he knows when you want to take off and stop. When you are ready to go, the boat captain will slowly accelerate to tighten the lines between the boat and you. You can steer by pulling on the left and right risers but you shouldn’t ever have to. While you are in the air, the trail boat will be about 200 feet behind you in the water. When you are ready to end your air adventure, pull the safety pin and you will glide softly back into the water. Then you will be ready to start the adventure all over!

If you can assemble a comfortable pack, not too tiring to carry, and from it live in the wilds happily and easily for four days to a week, depending on your age and size, then you are a real camper and worthy of your coonskin cap.
Real campers start brooding about their equipment months before they are ready to go out. Half the fun is in planning a trip and preparing gear. Much of it you can make or adapt to your needs. If you must buy a few things, spreading the expense over several months makes it easier. Camp outfitters’ catalogues, supplied free, will show you hundreds of things you can buy, from dehydrated beans to tents, and give you ideas for making some.
In packing gear there are three rules: Keep weight down. Keep bulk down. Be sure each item is usable plus. A jackknife with a can opener in it makes one item out of two. Plastic dishes weigh much less than aluminum or enamelware. Bring some beef jerky with you when you go camping.
