The Beatitudes: A Cappella With Attitude
Dynamic Catholic male A Cappella covering a wide variety of recognizable favorites - pop, rock, Contemporary Christian, Gospel, & traditional tunes.
The Beatitudes of Franciscan University of Steubenville are a non-profit, student-run, male Catholic a cappella group dedicated to energetic, creative, and quality performances. Our mission is to spread the Gospel through our songs, skits, testimony, and humor. We appeal to people of all ages, especially to the youth. We are evangelization through entertainment, combining music and comedy as a fresh and exciting way to spread the Gospel.
We cover a wide variety of recognizable favorites - pop, rock, Contemporary Christian, Gospel, and traditional tunes - all with just our voices, even the riffs and percussion!
Having just been founded at the beginning of the Jubilee Year 2000, the Beatitudes have quickly built a reputation for quality music, promoting a basic understanding of the faith, and encouraging conversion in youth. One of our main messages is this: "It is not boring or uncool to be a Catholic and a follower of Christ. It is exciting and life-changing!"
